Terms and Conditions

By booking or confirming a service with Kini Luxury via WhatsApp or any other communication channel, the customer is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before confirming your reservation.


Definitions

Kini Luxury refers to the provider of luxury car rental services, offering vehicles with professional drivers.


Scope of Services

Kini Luxury provides premium car rental services in Bali and the surrounding areas, offering drivers according to the customer’s preference.

Service Zones and Coverage

Shuttle and Half-Day services are only valid for areas within the city or the following designated zones: Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur, Canggu, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, and Ubud. For destinations outside these zones, the service will be automatically upgraded to a Full-Day rental, or pricing will be adjusted based on prior agreement with Kini Luxury.

Booking and Reservation
To book a rental car with a driver, customers must provide all required details, including the pick-up location, drop-off location, date, time, and any additional preferences. All bookings are made exclusively via WhatsApp. Once a booking has been confirmed, any changes to the service type on the day of service are limited to upgrades only. Downgrades are not permitted. For example, bookings may be upgraded from Shuttle to Half-Day or Full-Day, or from Half-Day to Full-Day. However, changes from Full-Day to Half-Day or Shuttle, or from Half-Day to Shuttle, are not allowed. Kini Luxury reserves the right to apply the applicable rate based on the upgraded service.

Late Booking
For bookings made within 12 hours of the requested pick-up time, availability may not be guaranteed.

Confirmation
Once the booking is received, an acknowledgment will be sent. The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a deposit, depending on the agreement.

Currency and Pricing

All prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Kini Luxury reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice. Any confirmed bookings will follow the agreed price at the time of confirmation.


Special Dates Pricing

On special dates such as December 24th, December 25th, December 31st, and January 1st, all service rates will be subject to a 20% surcharge due to peak season demand. Kini Luxury reserves the right to adjust pricing during peak seasons, high-demand periods, or special events beyond the dates listed above. 

Cancellation

Refunds
All approved refunds will be processed within three business days.

Rental Duration

Half-Day Service has a maximum duration of 5 hours. If the overtime exceeds 3 hours, the booking will automatically be upgraded and charged as a Full-Day rental (10 hours).

Rental Period and Extension
The rental period is defined as the duration between the agreed-upon pick-up and drop-off times. If you require an extension, you must notify Kini Luxury at least 2 hours before the scheduled end of the rental period. Any unauthorized extensions may result in additional charges.

Fees and Charges
Rental fees include the vehicle, driver services, and fuel. Additional costs such as tolls, parking fees, and other expenses are the customer’s responsibility. If the rental period exceeds the agreed duration, an additional charge of 10% of the hourly rate will apply. If the driver works past 12 AM, a one-time midnight fee (IDR 250,000) will be charged per day.

Pick-up Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pick-up and drop-off details. Kini Luxury shall not be held liable for delays or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.

Multiple Stops

Multiple stops are allowed within the agreed service duration. Additional charges may apply if the route significantly deviates from the original plan.

Waiting Time

For airport pick-up services, customers are required to inform Kini Luxury of any flight delays. Waiting time will be adjusted based on the actual flight arrival time. Kini Luxury provides a maximum waiting time of 90 minutes for airport pick-up services from the confirmed arrival time. Beyond this period, additional charges may apply. For Shuttle Services, a maximum waiting time of 15 minutes is provided from the agreed pick-up time. After this period, additional charges may apply or the booking may be considered cancelled without refund. For Full-Day and Half-Day Services, there is no waiting time allowance. The rental duration will begin at the agreed standby time, regardless of the customer’s arrival.

Driver Standards

All Kini Luxury drivers are trained to deliver professional, courteous, and discreet service. Drivers are expected to maintain proper grooming, wear appropriate attire, and communicate clearly with customers. Basic English communication skills are provided to assist international guests, ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience.

Driver Availability
Kini Luxury does not guarantee the availability of a specific driver. Driver assignments are subject to operational availability, and Kini Luxury reserves the right to assign an alternative driver in the event of illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Driver Meals and Rest

For Full-Day services exceeding 8 hours, providing a meal or meal allowance for the driver is appreciated but not mandatory.

Driver and Vehicle Responsibilities
The driver will operate the vehicle in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all local traffic laws and regulations. The driver is not authorized to engage in any unlawful activity. Additionally, any inappropriate behavior by the customer will result in immediate termination of the service without a refund. Any damages to the vehicle, inside or out, caused by the customer will be the customer’s responsibility.

Vehicle Use
The vehicle must be used solely for its intended purpose and in accordance with Kini Luxury guidelines, and may only be used by the renter or authorized persons. Kini Luxury reserves the right to refuse or terminate service without refund if passengers engage in any dangerous, inappropriate, or unlawful activities, including but not limited to smoking, alcohol consumption, drug use, or the transportation of prohibited substances or goods. Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited and will result in a penalty of IDR 1,000,000 per violation. Vomiting inside the vehicle, whether due to intoxication, motion sickness, or any other reason, will incur a cleaning fee of IDR 1,000,000. Passengers are expected to maintain a comfortable environment within the vehicle. Playing music at an excessively high volume is discouraged, and carrying pets or engaging in any activity that may cause damage to the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

Vehicle Quality Guarantee

Kini Luxury guarantees that all vehicles provided will be in clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy condition prior to each service. Vehicles are professionally cleaned and inspected before every booking to ensure maximum comfort, safety, and a premium experience for all passengers.

Vehicle Substitution

In the event that the selected vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, maintenance issues, or operational reasons, Kini Luxury reserves the right to replace it with a similar or higher-category vehicle without prior notice, at no additional cost to the renter.

Vehicle Cleanliness and Damage Policy

The renter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle interior throughout the rental period. Any damage or excessive dirt caused by food, drinks, sand, stains, or other substances may result in additional cleaning or repair charges, depending on the extent of the damage. Kini Luxury reserves the right to determine the appropriate charges if the vehicle requires special cleaning or restoration. Severe damage or contamination may incur higher charges beyond the standard cleaning fee. Durian and other strong-smelling foods are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. Any violation that causes unpleasant odors or requires special cleaning will result in a cleaning fee of IDR 1,000,000.

Passenger Behavior
Customers and passengers are expected to behave respectfully and comply with all reasonable instructions provided by the driver. Kini Luxury reserves the right to refuse or terminate the service immediately, without refund, if any behavior is deemed unsafe, abusive, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Any resulting damage to the vehicle may incur additional charges. For safety, passengers are encouraged to wear seat belts at all times. Child seats are available upon request and are subject to availability.

Passenger Capacity

The number of passengers must not exceed the legal seating capacity of the vehicle. Kini Luxury reserves the right to refuse service in case of overcapacity without refund.

Luggage Policy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that luggage capacity is suitable for the selected vehicle. Kini Luxury is not liable if the number or size of luggage exceeds the vehicle’s capacity.

Personal Belongings
Kini Luxury is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle during the rental period. Customers are advised to take care of their belongings.

Access and Parking

Customers are responsible for ensuring that pick-up and drop-off locations are accessible by the selected vehicle. If access is restricted, the nearest accessible point will be used.

Traffic and Delay Disclaimer

Kini Luxury is not responsible for delays caused by traffic conditions, road closures, weather, local ceremonies, religious events, or other unforeseen circumstances. Travel time may be affected by these factors, and customers are advised to allow sufficient time for their schedule.

Third-Party Delays

Kini Luxury is not responsible for delays caused by third parties, including hotels, villas, or event organizers.

Force Majeure

Kini Luxury will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to unforeseen events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or accidents. In such cases, Kini Luxury will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the booking.

Payment Terms
The customer agrees to pay the full rental amount, including any additional charges for excess time, extra services, or damages, at the time of booking or as specified by Kini Luxury. Kini Luxury reserves the right, at its discretion, to require full payment in advance for certain bookings, particularly for new customers or in cases of prior cancellations. Payment after service is subject to approval and may not be available for all bookings.

Payment Methods
Kini Luxury accepts payment via credit or debit card, as well as Indonesian bank transfer. Cash payments are only accepted for airport transfer services.

Insurance
Kini Luxury places the highest priority on passenger safety. While every effort is made to ensure a safe and comfortable journey, Kini Luxury shall not be held liable for incidents arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. All vehicles are covered by standard insurance, and any claims will be processed in accordance with the applicable insurance policy. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for damages caused by proven negligence or willful misconduct by Kini Luxury.

Privacy and Data Protection

Kini Luxury collects personal information for the purpose of processing bookings and providing the service. Kini Luxury complies with applicable data protection laws and will not disclose personal information to third parties without the customer’s consent, except as required by law.

Limitation of Liability

Kini Luxury shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to delays, missed flights, or loss of business opportunities arising from the use of our services.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Indonesia.

Amendments

Kini Luxury reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting.
